About Us

Enkishon Organization is a community-rooted initiative founded within the Maa community in Kajiado County, Kenya. Our work began on 28 March 2022, and we were formally registered as a non-governmental organization in August 2025.

We work closely with girls, mothers, families, and young people who are determined to shape a different future for themselves. Our role is to protect, equip, and support, so individuals and communities can move forward together with dignity.

When a home is supported, a young person can learn again.

Gladys became the primary caregiver for her younger siblings after losing her mother and facing deep family instability. As she returned to school, the stress of worrying about her siblings’ wellbeing affected her ability to concentrate and perform. Enkishon committed to support her household and community through compassion missions and continued engagement, ensuring stability at home so she could focus on her education.
